The Netherlands Society for Evolutionary Biology (NLSEB) Junior Board hosts a series of lab rotation events at various Dutch institutions. These events aim to showcase the diversity of exciting evolution-based research in the Netherlands and to connect early-career researchers across the country. 

This year’s Lab Rotation will take place at the Netherlands Institute of Ecology (NIOO-KNAW). The afternoon program features insightful talks by junior and senior evolutionary biologists from NIOO, as well as guided tours of the institute’s laboratories and facilities. The day will begin with an optional visit to the World Soil Museum, and will conclude with drinks and networking. Topics will span across different scales and systems, from viruses and daphnia to plants and birds. 

This event is a great opportunity to meet fellow young researchers in evolutionary biology across the Netherlands.
